About Barbara’s Books: A Worldly Author
As a Connecticut native with a passion for travel, I embarked on a journey that led me across the globe, teaching in locations such as Seattle, WA, Labrador, Canada, and Bamberg, Germany. It was in Germany where fate led me to my husband at a beer fest, and together, we continued our adventures in the Republic of Panama. These experiences allowed me to immerse myself in various cultures and develop a deep appreciation for the world around us.
From Principal to Author: Embracing Diverse Storytelling Genres
While living in Panama, I took on the role of an elementary school principal and began writing stories and articles for newspapers, magazines, and 4th-grade readers. This passion for storytelling eventually evolved into becoming an author, and thus, Barbara’s Books was born. My writing covers a range of genres, from historical novels set in Florida to children’s books featuring lovable animals and young adult adventures. I allow my muse to guide me, ensuring that each piece I write is engaging and unique.
